Today, I visited a Kimono rental shop “Kimonoya Natty” which is located near Karasuma-gojo station.
There are all sorts of Kimono for rent.
You will be amazed that Kimono has so much patterns and colours.
Of course, you can rent them and what’s more, they are very reasonable!

The owner said,

“If you prefer to wear Kimono made by silk,

we have just the right one for you.

So, please feel free to ask us.”

町家の知恩院、烏丸五条、河原町五条に

Today, I would like to introduce Kotatsu, which I love so much!

We have prepared Kotatsu in Chioin, Karasuma-gojo, and Kawaramachi-gojo.

Please enjoy a comfortable Kotatsu life!

Kotatsu is one of Japanese unique investments to warm you up in the cold season.

It makes your feet and your body warm and also be able to keep your brain clear.
However, it makes me sleepy everytime I put my feet in it。。。（＾＾；）

Anyways, I love Kotatsu so much❤
I would like you to be a Kotatsu lover as well .

How to use Kotatsu ↓

①　Plug in an outlet.
When you do not use it, turn off the switch.
“切” means “Off”

②　When you use it, turn on the switch.
“入” means “on”

③ To change the temperature of the Kotatsu, please turn the small knob.

You can find it under the Kotatsu.
Left “弱” means “Low”
Right “強” means “High”

They have been opening their business for about 400 year!

I have visited the main shop.

It is really fun to look at Japanese towel of various patterns, traditional miscellaneous goods and bags.
On the second floor, there is a gallery of Machiya.

創業400年の京の老舗ブランド「永樂屋 EIRAKUYA」さん。
本店にお邪魔しました（＾＾）

色んな絵柄のてぬぐいや和雑貨、カバンなどなど
見ているだけでも楽しいです。
本店の２階は、町家ギャラリーになってます☆
